About XEDO
XEDO is a new technology business, dedicated to providing the very
best IT systems for garment rental businesses; in particular formal
wear for weddings and proms.
The founder, Richard Freedman, previously founded and ran ACS Clothing, the UK's largest formal hire business. ACS supplies a wide variety of retailers with a full rental service, primarily Tailcoats, Tuxedos, etc. for the wedding and prom business. ACS's customer base ranges from national retail groups, with their own ranges and brochures, to independent retailers (primarily menswear or bridal) who promote ACS's in-house range.
Xedo Software offers retailers and manufacturers everything they need to run their business at their fingertips, managing orders when stock is scarce (due to late returns, etc.), managing garments out at stores/wearers and handling non returns, providing real time data management on e.g. pick progress, status of all incomplete orders - good management information on trend analysis, purchasing requirements, sales modelling for new retail accounts, etc.
In 2007 ACS employed several more developers and started to re-write the system from scratch using the .NET framework. This environment was chosen as it allowed for the software to be written as a number of web applications, to access an array of MS SQL or Oracle databases. The applications all access the central database in real time allowing for retailers, customers (online), customer service teams and warehouse supervisors all to have access to the same information, immediately.
That system is what now forms the XEDO suite and is split into four components;
XEDO BRIDAL, dedicated EPOS rental system; XEDO JUNO, our WMS rental system; XEDO TRACKER, garment control and tracking, wherever they are! and XEDO NETPOS, linking it all online.
XEDO is committed to develop and further improve its solutions for garment retailers and manufactures and to provide it to other rental businesses. XEDO really works for wedding party rental, because its management team have really worked in wedding party rental.
